Executive Fireside Chat:
The Black Swan is Dead
Jennifer Bisceglie, President, CEO & Board Member, Interos
Since January 2020, we have seen multiple back swan events (Brexit, Suez Canal Blockage, SolarWinds, and COVID 19). While these events were unexpected, better preparation was possible.

Digitally enabled visibility through supply chain risk management analytics combined with a management cadence focused on supply chain resiliency could have minimized the impact. The very lack of these essential capabilities exposed many companies around the world.

The time is now to take the hype out of supply chain risk digitalization and institutionalize it by mapping the extended supply chain, integrating AI driven analytics, quantitatively evaluating each risk factor, identifying alternatives, and taking proactive actions to adapt the supply chain and remediate risk.

The result is a resilient supply chain to enable business continuity while protecting customers, brand equity, and shareholders.
