Panasonic’s vision for a more sustainable future includes hydrogen as an integral part of low-carbon, sustainable smart towns. The company has brought that vision to life at the Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town project in
Japan’s Kanagawa Prefecture, which was inaugurated in 2014. Occupying 19 hectares formerly housing a Panasonic factory, it is home to more than 2,000 residents and shows how communities could live in future.
